On the morning of Saturday, July 28th, 1945, a B-25 Army Corps Bomber piloted in dense fog by veteran Lieutenant Colonel, William Franklin Smith, Jr., accidentally crashed into the 79th floor of the Empire State Building, killing fourteen people. The building reopened two days later, its strength a symbolic representation, a testament to its character and those who created it at the height of the Depression in record time. Empire State is presented as a dramatic 3D animated recreation, solely and sporadically developed over several years since prior to 9/11/01.
