2011 &#124; Keir Dullea encounters a mysterious object, in a scenario reminiscent of the penultimate scene from Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey that he appeared in over forty years ago.

This teaser short/faux commercial - best played loud - was developed over a two year period on a shoestring budget. Live action was filmed multi-camera, against greenscreen atop a backlit plexi floor. Mr. Dullea was then integrated into an entirely digital set personally created and rendered at 1080HD.

Production Designer

2011 &#124; The Nike MAG from Back to the Future II became known as the "greatest shoe never made" - until September 8th, 2011.

Nike in alliance with Universal Studios, Google and Ebay, produced 1500 pairs for auction with proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. adNAU's Tino Schaedler and Oliver Zeller designed the grand unveiling at Hollywood's Montalban Theater.

The event design spatially realized the marketing campaign's graphic design, featuring stippled strands based on the shoe's light colors. Recessed illuminated trajectories, tangents of time, invited people inside the theater where they were greeted by a 16 foot high glass box filled with smoke. Revealing only the multi-colored lights from hundreds of MAG sneakers until the smoke gradually dissipated.

The entrance trajectories continued inside, branching into two dynamically lit chandeliers that guided attendees up stairs, past Back to the Future memorabilia and exhibits into a recreation of the Cafe 80's from Back to the Future II. Cafe 80's included a twelve screen TV wall behind the bar displaying film scenes and photos from a nearby greenscreen station where people could have their shots taken atop a hoverboard.

World War II is on the brink of escalation as spies, deposed royalty and other famous figures converge at the Portuguese seaside resort town of Estoril. Home to Europe's largest casino, this is the nexus of WW2 espionage. The place that inspired Ian Fleming’s literary debut, James Bond in Casino Royale.

This ongoing graphic novel series commences with the globetrotting prologue, “All Roads Lead to Estoril”, featuring memorable characters including J. Edgar Hoover, Winston Churchill, Adolf Hitler, Hollywood siren Simone Simon, playboy double agent Dusko Popov and a veritable “Queen of the Desert”, Lt. Col. Dudley Clarke who named the British Commandos, S.A.S. and U.S. Army Rangers.

The first substantial written work on Estoril’s instrumental, yet obscured part in WWII history; Spies of Estoril is a dramatic and tongue-in-cheek topical exploration of truth, illusion and misdirection.

The series is currently in illustration by artist Richard Blake.

2004 &#124; Developed for Nike's "Art of Speed" campaign, this project explores Einstein's concept of "time dilation" which predicts that as a person approaches the speed of light, time appears to accelerate. Sr. Digital Set Designer

2010 &#124; Jordan Mechner brings his classic videogame tale to film in conjunction with Disney and legendary producer Jerry Bruckheimer. Directed by Mike Newell with Production Design by Wolf Kroeger, the film stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, Sir Ben Kingsley and Alfred Molina.

In 2008, I went to Morocco for four months to work in the film's art department. As Sr. Digital Set Designer, I primarily worked on the city of Alamut, later realized by visual effects firm MPC.

This work included designing digital extensions from the palace to a key temple based on concept art by Julian Caldow.

Produced urban guidelines and studies of Alamut for MPC and built a library of basic urban elements. These elements were used by digital set designer Bogdan Strugar for creating building modules and MPC to populate the city plan as developed by VFX Art Director, Tino Schaedler.

Also developed an accurate digital recreation of Alamut's constructed sets at Tamsloht, primarily based on plans by Art Director Leslie Tomkins.</description>
